Al Musmak Fort Museum

Under Turki Bin Abdullah Al Saud's son Faisal (grandfather of King Abdulaziz, the Founder of the present Kingdom) the rule of Al Saud extended over much of central and eastern Arabia and after the death of Faisal, Riyadh was ruled by Abdullah, and it was he who in the 1860's built Al Musmak Fort which played an important part in the founding of the modern Saudi State.

King Abdulaziz Historical Center

The King Abdulaziz Historical Center was constructed to mark the occasion of the centenary of Riyadh's recapture by King Abdulaziz 100 years ago, and to become a national landmark for Saudi Arabia. The King Abdulaziz Historical Centter reflects the culture of the Peninsula's history, Islam's eternal message, and the basis on which the Kingdom was founded.

The National Museum

The National Museum is situated on the Eastern Side of King Abdulaziz's Historical Center as Saudi Arabia's National landmark for development, culture and education.
